The barn alongside the cottage has been beautifully converted. There are 3 rooms and toilet downstairs and a large room measuring 11 metres by 7 metres upstairs. This large space opens out onto the back garden and looks up onto the fells behind. It lends itself to a variety of uses; from movement/dance studio and yoga/bodywork to presentation/workshop space. It is heated by a woodstove and equipment available includes tables and chairs, OHP, computer with broadband, flipcharts, sound system, sofas, blankets and cushions.
The barn can be booked either:
Per person with a full board package in the guest house, including bed and breakfast, lunch, dinner and full use of facilities including sauna. This costs £53 per person per day
Or
Per group. This is ideal for groups who want the space for a one off event and don’t particularly need accommodation. In this case the cost is £95 per day and includes use of the barn space, drinks throughout the day, and equipment. Lunch is available for £6 per person.
Events coming up at Nab Cottage
September 27 and 28, a BIODANZA weekend. This involves simple movement, gentle touch and breathing exercises. You work alone, in pairs and as a group. There is a strange and powerful alchemy at work through the process and the effect is quite blissful!! See www.altairedstates.co.uk for information about Biodanza and about Altair, who teaches the workshop. The cost is £70 for the 2 day workshop excluding accommodation.
